Hi, thanks for your comment on my blog. I thought I'd answer your question about my background here so you could find it easier. I'm not sure how much help it will be though. I spotted a blog with the same template as mine where the person had changed the background so I knew it could be done. What I did was right click on the background of my blog and found out what the jpg file was called. Then I got the template html up on blogger (click on edit template html) and searched for the jpg file. When I found it, I switched out a file that I had made by scanning one of my journal pages. I had put the file up on my flickr photoset, so I put the link to there. I just double checked to make sure my memory served right and that's what it looks like.
I had to fool around with the file a bit to get one that tiled well. To do that part, I used it as a tiled background on my desktop and just kept changing it until I got one that I liked.
