More crusade #18 - play time!

Bryce & I continued crusade #18 yesterday morning...We decided that art comes before cleaning (A before C) so we left the dishes in the sink, toys everywhere, beds unmade & jammie's on! :-)

This is Bryce, my grandson and I creating with our newly carved rubber stamp

The cat stamps (which Bryce (4yrs.old) helped pick out to carve) were what he wanted to stamp and paint. He has a red, black, blue and green Power Ranger cats here...

This is my doodle checker board stamp I drew then carved

And... below is what I ended up with this morning using it.
Super spontaneous in deed...Don't have any idea where it came from it just happened!

Happy Easter!

Get out!! You have a grandson? You look much too young for THAT. Love seeing you using your tools Becci, especially with Bryce. Great pages, great stamps!! Art before Cleaning works for me :)

Great way to be...art before all else! It is fun to create with kids as they remind us of how to let go! GREAT doodle checker board stamp, very original and versatile, I can see it getting used a lot.

I agree with art before cleaning... been recently practicing that. My 3 1/2 year old son has been "taken" with my stamp supplies... so much fun! LOVE how that page turned out with the checkerboard stamp!!

Everything in this post just about blew me away! The stamps are awesome, the page even more so and your grandson -- what a cutie! As for the "C" word... you are to be commended for having excellent priorities.

Great stamps, I adore your boy with the Power Ranger cats! Billy, Triny and what ever they were called 10 years ago when I watched those with kids.

Are you sure you're Bryce's grandma and not his mom?!? I agree w/Michelle... you don't look old enough at all!!! Really great stamps... I've always been a fan of checkerboards (grew up in Battle Creek, MI, home-at the time-to Ralston Purina... remember the red and white checkerboard on their product?). I just may have to give a checkerboard a try myself, hope you don't mind! so glad you shared with us... That Bryce sure is photogenic!
