Jamie Oliver's TED Prize wish: Teach every child about food

Again, I know watching these videos is time consuming but I believe knowledge is so important. Ignorence is depressing, it causes fear and it's just not good! Although "Wilfred" is super funny, and South Park re-runs are freakin' hilarious they just don't do much on giving us the knowledge we deserve. It's about having a balance right?
So grab a tall glass of ice water, put your comfy clothes on and enjoy Jamie sharing powerful stories from his anti-obesity project in Huntington, W. Va., TED Prize winner Jamie Oliver makes the case for an all-out assault on our ignorance of food.

Look at your child and tell me they don't deserve to know how to be healthy.

"My wish is for you to help a strong sustainable movement
to educate every child about food, to inspire families to cook again,
and to empower people everywhere
to fight obesity"

~Jamie Oliver

TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader and the content has expanded to include science, business, the arts and the global issues facing our world.   http://www.ted.com/
